Following are ILC Tas visits and other events you may wish to attend.

Scottsdale Day Centre Visit - Sept. 2010

ILC Tas brings a selection of equipment to the display, including:

  • Things to help you do household tasks
  • Items to make dressing and personal care easier, and
  • Specialised products for recreation and leisure.

You can request other equipment to be brought to the session. Please contact ILC Tas before the visit.

ILC Tas has an Occupational Therapist present at these visits. The Occupational Therapist can help you decide what you need. They offer information and advice tailored to your situation.

Everyone is welcome to visit and ask questions. This is free of charge.

Individual consultations are available by appointment.

ILCTas is participating in this Seniors Week Event organized by Glenorchy City Council.  The display will be featured outside the Millers Fashion Store in the Centro complex.

 

ILC Tas will have an occupational therapist at the event to provide advice about how assistive technology can help you.  Assistive technology is anything that can help you to do a task.  This may be equipment, changing a technique, or adapting something you already have around the home.  You can ask ILC Tas for advice about how to make everyday tasks easier, like putting on socks or making a cup of tea; or for advice to help you to be able to continue hobbies such as bike riding, sewing or gardening.
